Green Room is now open at Soho Garden Palm Jumeirah…
Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a secret bar? There’s something particularly exciting about walking through a hidden door to discover an exclusive party happening behind it. That’s exactly what you’ll find at the Soho Garden Palm Jumeirah, since Green Room has opened its (secret) doors.
You’ll find Green Room down a cramped hallway, and once inside you’ll see a sophisticated space with private booths and lush green velvet armchairs set under dramatic chandeliers. A large marble bar is lined with green bar stools, facing three large LED-lit arched mirrors. Oriental floral wallpaper adds pops of red and pink color to the space, while black and white striped flooring gives a retro feel.
Throughout the week, customers will be able to take advantage of a selection of deals, starting with the “She” ladies’ night on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which offers girls four free drinks and a platter to share for Dhs150. On Wednesdays there is a ‘Backstage R&B Brunch’ including three courses and three drinks for 200 Dhs per person.
For something a little more entertaining, get ready for a burlesque party every Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Featuring singer Ayesha Reid and her talented dance group, guests will enjoy dinner and a show with dishes from the à la carte menu. On Sunday, expect the best hip-hop and R&B tracks to help you close out the weekend. ‘Society’ offers two starters and four selected drinks for 150 Dhs per person, every Sunday from 7pm to late.
Stay tuned for Friday, June 17, with special guest DJ Hot Since 82 performing live at the Soho Garden Palm Jumeirah. The British producer will play in the main club, but guests who book for the dinner show in the Green Room will receive free access to the club and skip-the-line access. Otherwise, it’s free for women all night and free for men before 11:30 p.m. (150 Dhs after).
